The goal is to break 200 by end of next week and I know I can do it. A bit more cardio, some yogalates and volleyball, I'm set.&lt;br /&gt;Wish me luck.&lt;br /&gt;On the work front, everything's been steady, a tad stressful but otherwise manageable. Distraction comes in the form of my "work crush" but I firmly believe the Law of Attraction is on my side with this. Focusing on what I really want vs. what's stopping me from getting it. It's been a reflective weekend so far.&lt;br /&gt;I've been dreaming about him in the last few days. Not surprising since he's never really far from my thoughts. I've been learning all sorts of new things about him in the last few weeks too. I need to be a little more cardio crazy and a little less yoga serene. :) I hope it works!&lt;br /&gt;On the personal life front, just as I was ready to swear off men for good, someone good came along and made me change that thinking entirely. Before you jump to conclusions and assume I actually started dating, hold that thought. I haven't, really. What I have is what's commonly known as an infatuation. (Haven't had one of those since college LOL!) He's a good guy, smart, funny, cute and totally unavailable (read: live-in girlfriend). I realize that I could actually start liking someone who is single...but of course, that would be too simple. :)&lt;br /&gt;Otherwise, life is good and my new addiction for the month is Starbucks' Skinny Chai Latte. Only 90 calories, they said! For the last 2 weeks, I've been hardly trying to lose weight. The food was never an issue, I can focus on keeping to 1000 calories even if I was PMSing and watching a chick flick at the same time. The exercise was a bit harder because TrainerBoy wasn't around. I had started walking around the neighborhood--2, maybe 3k at a time, but still, I felt my ass dragging.&lt;br /&gt;But looking at the scale yesterday and seeing I lost 6 lbs in the last 2 weeks still? I had originally planned to get a tattoo done on my left arm of a sassy looking serpent.&lt;br /&gt;The more I look at the said arm though, the more I doubt that now is the time for a new tatt. There's a marked difference in the way I look, the way my clothes fit, and the way I move. It's a little scary too how some people are looking at me differently, like I'm on display somehow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I haven't lost weight in so long. My last major weight loss was 5 years ago, when I took off about 30 pounds doing the Atkins diet. Although I've sworn never to go through that route again, I'm seriously considering it to hasten the weight loss process. I never realized how much I wanted to look like my old self again, and how wonderful it was to feel confident and beautiful.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I remember watching an episode of Oprah and she said the one thing we should know before entering a phase of serious weight loss was to understand the underlying reason for all our weight gain. In my head, I was telling myself that I just had no self control. But weeks later, upon further reflection, I realized I had major trust issues as well as a fear of losing those I loved. I wanted to be invisible and not feel anything for other people and just focus on what it took to make ME feel good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Realizing that, it was stupid of me to be so selfish. I have a wonderful family, awesome friends and a great career. I wanted to be better to them, and myself as a result.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My motivation now too is to make sure I get over my fears and just face life head on, like I used to. We all deserve a great life. It was in a nice see-through Tupperware container and drove me nuts everytime I walked by. It looked delicious and  because it was made with homemade tomato sauce, I was drooling even from 10 feet away. She had an equivalent of food porn, people. FOOD PORN. My favorite, Tim Horton's Iced Cappuccino isn't too far behind in the calorie count. It was hot, humid and the patios were calling my name.&lt;br /&gt;My favorite? An ultimate bellini from Milestone's. *sigh*&lt;br /&gt;I saw the movie "No Reservations" with my friend Lee today. Incidentally, she's also on a very strict low carb diet. I honestly don't know how she sat through it, with all the food being made on screen (I almost fell off my seat when Katherine Zeta-Jones started eating tiramisu like there was no tomorrow....). I was seriously craving quail in saffron sauce as we were walking back to the car.&lt;br /&gt;This led me to wonder. When did food stop being enjoyable for me? I've always appreciated good cooking, especially my mom's. In the last five years though, food became a crutch, a way to get through the day. Now, I avoid most everything like the plague.&lt;br /&gt;I am thankful, however, that I've never become a chef.
